The St. Margaret's Bay area is a community of communities around beautiful St. Margaret's Bay. With a population over 19,000, we are the second fastest growth area of the Halifax Regional Municipality. Approximately 25 Km from the heart of peninsular Halifax we are accessible by vehicle or public transit via the newly twinned Highway 103.

St. Margaret's Bay has many kilometres of coastland with beaches, scenic fishing villages, and a wealth of rugged natural beauty including the world famous Peggy's Cove.

The St. Margaret's Bay area is dotted with shops and services to meet most of your retail needs. Many independent artists and crafts-people have studios and shops in our region.
